Bryan Ichikawa works within Unisys’ Federal Systems organization, based in Reston, Va. As a globally recognized expert in smart card and security technologies, Bryan provides tactical assistance to qualify, win and deliver new business opportunities that utilize these technologies. Bryan is also responsible for representing Unisys in worldwide industry and standards organizations for smart cards. Bryan is also the Chief Architect for Unisys’ Registered Traveler Programs, and is responsible for the Federal Systems Identity and Access Management Practice.
Bryan has previously held positions at Thomson Media, holding general management responsibilities for the CTST family of Conferences and Exhibitions, Executive Director of the Business Solutions Group for SPYRUS, Director of Marketing for Smart Cards at Certicom Corp, and has spent ten years at MCI Telecommunications in several executive and advanced technology roles.
He has worked extensively with the Smart Card Alliance over the past decade. He has held many active roles within the Alliance, and currently serves on their Board of Directors and is an instructor for the SCA Educational Institute.
He is a contributing author for "Smart Cards--Seizing Strategic Business Opportunities" and holds two patents for data security and user privacy in communications systems.
